Cookie notice

Last updated 21 August 2026

The short version

This site does not set any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing non-essential to ask consent for. This is a deliberate choice, consistent with the approach described on the Waferchip for privacy page.

What this site actually stores

This site is built with Next.js. It does not load any third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking scripts, and it does not set first-party cookies to identify or profile visitors across sessions.

The only thing your browser may store locally is your device's own preference for reduced motion or colour scheme, which is read directly from your operating system or browser settings, never written by this site, and never sent anywhere.

If that changes

If an analytics or advertising cookie is ever added to this site, this notice will be updated first, and a consent banner will be added before any non-essential cookie is set, not after. The date at the top of this page will move when that happens.

Forms are not cookies

The forms on this site (Get started, Design partner, and the privacy service application) send the information you type directly to Matt by email when you submit them. That is separate from cookies and is covered in the privacy notice.
